AWS Transit Gateway is a new service to connect VPCs and consolidate edge connections to on-premises networks. You can connect your existing VPCs, data centers, remote offices, and remote gateways to a managed Transit Gateway, and control network routing and security.
Working with AWS, Aviatrix has developed powerful orchestration for Transit Gateway to automate and easily create VPC network segmentation. Aviatrix abstracts VPC and Transit Gateway route tables & propagation into a simple, common framework that gives architects, ops engineers, and security teams complete visibility and control over what is connected – across cloud and on-premises environments.
With AWS Transit and Aviatrix Orchestration, organizations are able to:
- Ensure the VPC network meets security best practices.
- Limit lateral movement during a breach.
- Minimize blast radius due to misconfigurations.
- Avoid delays due to tedious, manual configuration.
- Use existing Direct Connect to support on-prem resources.
Of Particular Interest To:
Those responsible for planning and implementing connectivity between AWS VPCs and on premises resources, or VPC to VPC connectivity, including cloud architects, cloud engineers, cloud infrastructure managers, DevOps, and networking staff.
